Torque & Trail Overland was born from a lifetime surrounded by engines, racing culture, and a passion for adventure. What started at the racetrack in Puerto Rico grew into a lifestyle built around speed, exploration, family, and creativity.

My mother grew up in Puerto Rico watching her father — widely known as Pepe Cráneo — build and race the island’s first Funny Car. His legendary Mustang builds and unforgettable runs shaped her love for performance, horsepower, and the adrenaline of motorsports.

I grew up immersed in the world of racing and performance from both sides of my family. On my mother side, my grandfather was a pioneer in Puerto Rico’s drag racing scene — known by many as Pepe Cráneo — and he built the island’s very first funny car. That legacy of adrenaline, craftsmanship, and speed became part of my foundation from the very beginning.

On my father’s side, racing ran just as deep. My grandfather — known as Joe Cool, also called “Mr. Wheelie” — was one of the fastest racers in Puerto Rico, famous for piloting his Rambler AMX, Joe Cool, and launching massive wheelies straight off the starting line.

That passion carried on through my father, who also raced and continues to own and build classic muscle cars today, including AMXs, Mustangs, and several other high-performance vehicles. My older brother followed the same path as well, racing his own Mustang and helping carry the family’s performance legacy forward.

Growing up surrounded by engines, tools, and race culture, I naturally became hands-on and mechanically minded — a true handy girl, I understand machines from the inside out. This multi-generational racing heritage is a huge part of what fuels my drive for adventure and the lifestyle that powers Torque & Trail Overland.

While our family was rooted in Mustangs and Ford culture, my mother became the black sheep of the family because she fell in love with Mopar performance. Building her Challenger that brought her back to car shows, racing, and chasing the adrenaline she grew up around — but this time behind the wheel herself.

I always had a love for Jeeps and adventure. From my first Rubicon to achieving my dream 392 build, I stepped into the world of overlanding, trails, and 4x4 exploration — turning every journey into a story.

Today, we share the same Mopar power in two worlds — speed on the pavement and freedom on the trails.

What started as a passion for vehicles evolved into creativity, apparel, and gear inspired by this lifestyle — growing into a brand built around family, adventure, and living life full throttle.
